Who’s gonna tell him…

1. …that Canada isn’t “living because of the US” — it’s literally powering half of it.

The US doesn’t keep Canada alive.

Canada keeps the US lit, heated, and running.

America’s biggest energy supplier?

Canada.

Not OPEC.

Not Saudi.

Not Mexico.

Canada.

2. …that the US–Canada relationship is mutual, not a charity program.

This isn’t “big brother and little brother.”

It’s “two adults splitting the rent.”

Canada isn’t on life support — it’s the one paying half the bills.

3. …that the US relies on Canada for stability more than Canada relies on the US for protection.

Canada is the reason the US has:

  • the world’s longest peaceful border

  • zero northern military threats

  • a stable neighbor instead of a geopolitical headache

That’s not dependence.

That’s premium real estate.

4. …that Canada co‑runs NORAD, not “borrows” it.

Canada isn’t freeloading on defense.

It literally co‑manages the system that protects the entire continent.

That’s not dependence — that’s partnership.

5. …that the US economy would take a massive hit without Canadian trade.

Canada is the US’s #1 trading partner.

Not #5.

Not #3.

#1.

If Canada disappeared tomorrow, Walmart shelves would look like a zombie apocalypse.

6. …that Canada’s economy is one of the most stable on Earth.

Top banking system.

Low corruption.

High quality of life.

Strong currency.

Canada isn’t “surviving because of the US.”

It’s thriving because it’s well‑run.

7. …that if anything, the US benefits from Canada’s existence more than the other way around.

Canada gives the US:

  • energy

  • resources

  • trade

  • security

  • a calm neighbor

  • zero drama

Meanwhile, Canada gets… Target for 18 months and then it leaves.

8. …that saying “Canada lives because of the US” is like saying “your roommate only survives because you borrow his Wi‑Fi.”

It’s not just wrong —

it’s embarrassingly wrong.
